I'm surprised too. Looks like they phased out the ProX7 type of laser. Stinks...

I really like the look of the Pro X2, but $499 is pretty steep. I'll just continue with my 10 year old Bushnell.

Bushnell Pro X2 is fantastic. Saw it at the PGA Show demo day. It is a fuse of the Z6 and Tour X. Z6 body and speed with the Tour X functionality. The case is waterproof, feels sturdy with just the right amount of weight. It targets quickly and the new Switch is really easy to use. Toggling between black and vivid display is now a push button function. All for the same price as the Tour X. If the price is still too steep, they have the new V4 Switch, which incorporates the new Slope Switch feature to the V4 body.

I really want the Pro V2, but my budget is more towards the V4 Switch.

I wonder how the slope switch of the Bushnell is legal. I understand the color coded cover of the previous model let everyone know what mode your laser was in. Simply having a switch would seem to challenge ones honesty.

The switch is on the side and says, Slope Edition, when engaged, for everyone to see.

The whole principle on which golf is played is honesty. No different from improving your lie when no one is looking or writing down 5 instead of 6.

I understand your point. I have played in enough tournaments to realize (unfortunately) that there are golfers that skirt the rules.
