This is a great field this week with only Sung Hyun Park missing from the top RR 10. There was a minor reshuffle of the top RR 10 last week and with the return of Inbee Park, who I expect to quickly regain a place there, those just above her will be looking to consolidate their position this week or risk dropping out.

Hard to believe Sung Hyun Park did not get an invite here but that's not to say she did not and for some reason turned it down. With such a good field and being on a known course I expect to see the winner again in the 20 under range so those who don't get off to a good start could be gone after round one. We won't see the winner only one better than the first round score as we did last week.

Honda will also offer its new Honda Civic TURBO RS worth 1.19 million Baht for a hole-in-one on the 16th hole.

I'm going to go for a "Heart" pick this week, Hee Young Park. I ran into her in southern California last week where she, and a number of KLPGA players, were spending the winter months practicing. 'Pretty exciting to run into a handful of players at a random golf course while on vacation. What are the odds? We chatted for a while, and she was very friendly.

Agreed, I just love her fiery competitors attitude, Kim and I were paired with her and Rebecca Lee Betham, she is really talented, played well, but a few bad holes get her on the final day...

This is a course that requires long straight driving. Undulating greens that will benefit from a good caddy read.

Oh geez, there are like a half dozen players I just adore and almost all of them are in this one. Just to narrow down... I'm going to cheer for In Gee, Hee Young, and M.J.!

 

Wow, Inbee is back. Such a powerful factor that was missing last season. She must really love the game! If ever you wanted to retire, she was like on top of the golf world and in a great unique moment to do it. The HoF ready, and I know the Olympics was a strange lopsided field, but the out-of-injury-convalescence-nowhere win was really an amazing statement.

 

I hope it really is some tropical fun for everyone. And then this could turn into a big name blow out battle...

It appears that In Gee resigned with Ping for the upcoming season, and also added SAP Korea to her list of sponsors.

 

LPGA rookie Sung Hyun Park appears to have dropped Ping, and signed with TaylorMade.

Let's hope so. She was wearing a wrist brace when she arrived in Thailand a few days ago, so whatever it is, it isn't fully healed.

I know these ladies need to maximize there income through sponsors etc but some of these girls are walking advertisements, - Phatlum must have 10 sponsors on her shirt and hat and even our Lydia has picked up a few more for her shirt - looks tacky to me, Zach J on the PGA tour is the only male I can think of that goes over board.

No, I don't think it was a PXG putter. The Gunboat's have a silver edge around the face, and her putter last week was all black/grey. Also, it had weights on the bottom. 'Probably some type of older V-line.

 

 

 

You sure about the Tank 7? It looked like a 2-Ball or Marxman. I could swear I saw a white perpendicular alignment aid.

 

Her full swing looked good. The loop is gone.

Moriya is quietly having a good season. T16 at the Pure Silk, T16 at the ISPS, and currently T12. Maybe she's finally tired of her lil sister hogging the spotlight.

That looks like an old Scotty Cameron Golo to me. You can see the Scotty Cameron writing on the heel and the two weights on the bottom are very Scotty Cameron, could be a custom though.

 

 

Edit: Looking at video highlights of her round I think she has put a 2 ball back in play, could be the one she was using before?
