Raising money suggestions

First of all if this is the wrong place I apologize!

 

I am looking for a few suggestions on a Raffle I want to do for a local 100 Holes Golf Tournament. The participants are asked to raise as much money possible and the proceeds go to the local First Tee program. The last two years as my donations have declined I have been looking at ways to raise more funds. My thoughts are to have a raffle with trying to get some of the local courses to donate a few rounds, or golf balls, etc. and put in a giant gift bag and give away to the winner. I am thinking $20 each for a ticket. I think I can get a couple of local pros to throw in maybe either a fitting or a lesson, and really try and make this gift bag something pretty decent. My question is does this sound viable and how would you pull it off? I do not want to have to use actual tickets other than the person who donates fill out a card at a local pro shop and I input their information into a spreadsheet prior to the drawing. I am concerned that I do not have a good way to do the drawing as being present wouldn't be necessary and I would contact the winner. I just don't want it to look funny in any way.

 

Any suggestions guys and girl from some of you that may have done this in the past?

 

If you have any other suggested fundraising techniques I would appreciate it. I have already posted it on Facebook, and sent emails to all of my work vendors and subcontractors as well.
