The 907 line is worst Titleist Drivers made in a long time. Big step down from 905 line. Don't get my wrong it is still a nice driver but when you release a new driver it is suppose to be a little bit better than the previous model. Not the same driver with a new makeover with less distance.

according to the titleist website, about half of the staffers have been using this thing since it came out, if it is that bad than why would so many pro golfers use it, they cant afford to sacrifice that much performance, if its good enough for proffessional golfers(if only one or two) its good enough for me

I completely disagree with this statement. Between my 905r and D2 with the same exact shaft (pulled out of one and put in the other) I found the D2 to be a much better club. I found it to be just as long and much more straight/forgiving. This is comparing these two drivers only. The feel is different on each but both are good, just different.

Great Club. I am only 14 so I was lokking for a club that was workable and a little bit forgiving. Man did I find the club here got it after having a 8.5 mp 600 with a Blue board and got the D2 in 9.5 and with the v2 75g stiff. Played Bethpage Black the other day and only missed three fairways. Ounce again Great club. :)

Previous driver was a 905S with 75g stiff speeder made for titleist. Purchased a 907D2 with a V266g stiff. Swing speed is 95-100. I was worried the v2 would be to stiff or "boardy" like some people describe. I though the shaft felt great, especially when I went after the ball a little bit. The D2 feels does not have the same solid feel of the 905S ( which felt like hitting a wooden baseball bat for me) So I actually perfer the feel of the 907d2.

Ball flight was slightly higher than with the 905S (which was low for me). SO trajectory is great, with no ballooning, I am a fan so far.

Just curious if anyone out there is using one of these three shafts in this head? If so what has been your results and do you like it?

1. Matrix Ozik X-Con 5 Stiff

2. AxivCORE Tour Red Stiff

3. AxivCORE Tour Black Stiff

I am most interested in results on the Matrix. But anything on the above mentioned would be great. Thanks!

i will be rec'ng a 907d2 from ebay in a couple days. it is a 9.5 stiff aldila blue by you shaft. can someone tell me what difference i'll see in that versus a 9.5 R flex blue by you in a 905r. a buddy has the 905r in that and i just kill it. i'm hoping the 907d2 will be at least as good. i just wonder about going with the stiff flex, although i swing at prob upper 90's to 100. thanks

Update, played in the wind with this club and I'm not a fan. I defintely lost about 10 -15 yards with this club I think do to high spinning and no roll. Well I played in a windy day and lets just say the wind magnified my overspinning issues.

I hit a 07 burner TP the same day and had no problems with the wind, very piercing.

Anyone else have this problem?

Any info. from folks who have played or demoed the Spec Grid 67 Regular, I would greatly appreciate it. I can purchase one and get it shipped to me, but can't demo one in my town. If it helps I'm about 94MPH SS, currently play at my handicap of 6.1 :cheesy: , and generally have trouble getting the ball to have that nice high soaring trajectory -- so I'm thinking this shaft would get the ball 'up, up and away'

Thanks again for any info.

Excellent club. Long. Not that forgiving. Good sound. Aesthetically very pleasing. What a beautiful club.

These can be had on ebay for a good price. I would give it a shot.

I found it more forgiving than the previous titleist driver. But honestly, I still prefer the 983k over most of the newer clubs. Something about the sound they make..

Rating: 4.0/5

I got mine 8.5 with UST Proforce Xstiff and its an absolute beast, I'm a big big slicer with other clubs of late, but with this pairing my misses are way more under control, I would say if you have a high clubhead speed you may want a stiffer shaft, as it is nice, but I can't really go after the ball as it feels a little soft/light to me.
