Just how much Speeder is in the Titty Speeder?

Silly thread and pics inside!

I'm regripping a Titleist Speeder. Nevermind it has an extremely thin layer of tape that took about 2 hours and gobs of lighter fluid and dishwasing soap to remove.

Anyway, I've always wondered just how far up the Speeder graphics extended...here you go!

from what i can see-- that is the standard speeder from fujikura - not one made for titleist... it is black with no tour graphics on it.. so she is the real deal.. enjoy**

The shaft itself says "exclusively for Titleist"...and the code says TSPDW3X I assume stand for Titleist Speeder Wood 3 X-flex :D

Sorry for being ignorant, but what's the difference between that shaft and the speeder that comes with the 905's?

A lot of people believe the old Tity Speeder was a beefed up Fuji VP70 - same weight, lower torque, maybe different kick. Can't remember that far back.

 

Some think the new Tity Speeder with the 905s may be more of a Speeder - with triax material and more characteristics of the 757 - I don't know - but with the new graphics saying Speeder all over them, (whereas as the old shaft just stated "Titleist Speeder") maybe this shaft does resemble more of a 757. It is 3.0 torque, 78g and looks to be high kick.

The new exclusive titleist speeder has the tourspec graphics on it, found in the 905 series.

I have a 905T 9.5* w/ speeder 757 stiff and when my shaft cracked i sent it back to Titleist for a new one during that time i used a demo 905T w/ titleist speeder in an 8.5*... i hit the 8.5* much higher than my 9.5* w/757.....the titleist stock speeder definately has a lower kick point than the 757 but it does load very well...so maybe the difference is in the kickpoint and torque???? Joe have u run any test to find the difference between them?????

I don't believe Joe would ever swing a club with the stock Tity speeder. He only removes them
