I would almost take any other defense rather than dallas. Holy cow. Last couple weeks I thought they had turned the corner but I've never well I won't say ever cause dallas has had bad defense over the years but it's awful.

Whoever is in charge of drafting defensive players needs to be fired. We haven't had a good drafted player since probably Sean lee and he can't stay healthy.

 

Let me start by saying I️ am a cowboy fan, have been all my life so football season every year basically gives me an ulcer...

 

You are right on the account that their defense is pretty horrendous... they moved a bunch of guys in the off season and never did a whole lot to build it back. This game was all about the O line.. record number of sacks allowed and turnovers all by basically one guy. Did the Cowboys ever offer Green any help on the outside?? Didn’t seem like it. For Dallas, it comes down to coaching game after game. They all need to go and Jerry needs to know his role and get some real talent in to run that team. If he never takes it seriously this is what the Cowboys are destined for year after year.

 

Oh yeah, and Sean Lee... great player, but you’re spot on, dude can not stay healthy. Who needs guys like that.... they have a lot of things to fix.

Thankfully, the Browns did Browns things like running the ball on 2nd and goal with under 20 second left at the end of the 1st half, and not getting it or another snap. And the pick to ice the game at the end and avoid the back door cover. Whew.

 

Having watched 0-16 firsthand though, the Browns are not an 0-16 team.

Thought the Steelers would be my sleeper to cover. Coming off the bye, rested, Indy can't score. They may be the worst 7-2 team in the history of the NFL.

They are not, at least on talent, and yet they can't win. 1-24 the last two seasons. Something is terribly wrong with this organization and, no matter how they actually look, no Browns fan holds any hope for the future. At least none that I know.

What is up is down and what is down is up. Such is the NFL. Brady, Brees, could be a great Super Bowl??? And here comes Atlanta in time to make a case for breaking the jinx of the Super Bowl runner-up. Dallas was without a few key players though. Elliott, S. Lee, Ty Smith, and a gimpy Dez Bryant. Not to mention the distractions from their owner. I should have been high on the Falcons. Missed that one. I thought based on the QB change in Tampa Bay and the inability of the Bucs defense to rush the QB, there might be more points scored in that game. But the Bucs defense must be healthier and the "quit" rumors must have been heard. Who is this CJ Beathard? He has great football lineage in his blood, grandson of the architect of the "smashmouth" Redskins during the 80's and early 90's which helped Joe Gibbs go to 4 Super Bowls winning 3 with all different QBs. Brought "smashmouth" running behind the offensive line called the Hogs, led by John Riggins, then Ernest Byner, and a one-hit wonder Timmy Smith who in Super Bowl XXII rushed for 204 yds and two Tds. Timmy Smith reported to training camp a year later after holding out for more money 25lbs overweight and was gone after the season. I think he had a drug problem as well. Chargers might be the worst coached team in the league, their success rate throwing on first down is much better than their rate of running the ball. Let Rivers air it out, get Ekeler and H.Henry more involved. Be the future success you know you can be with only a couple productive years left for P. Rivers. M. Gordon is better when he catches the ball in space. Another Jeff Fisher success or lack of... story in the making is Marvin Lewis, good coordinator, decent talent, but not much left in the tank. It seems like the Bengals are the yearly bridesmaid with good defenses that still can not make up for the lack of success of their offense. The red rifle should be called the red BB gun. He has targets but never can get the offense scoring points. I would love to see the Browns overtake them in that division next year for the battle of the great state of Ohio. Jags are maybe the luckiest team in week 10 They looked for ways to lose that game and almost did. Stupid penalties and turnovers almost did them in, but the defense against the pass helped seal the deal. Redskins and Vikings in a shootout??? Yes, sir, I was shocked after the defense on display in Seattle, and the Vikings literally foaming to get Bridgewater in the rotation, I was thinking a more stout effort by both defenses would cover the under. But Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Keenum called up the gods of Culpepper, Chris Carter, and Randy Moss exploding for an over that was not even close. Cousins played well enough to keep them in the game at some points, but Jay Gruden's questionable play calling made sure the Skins would not overtake the juggernaut performances of the Viking offensive stars of the game, give a nod to L Murray gashing up the middle of the soft interior of the Redskins defensive front. All in all, I hope I can get back on track this week and make a positive push to the top of the picks pool. Good Luck All!

I was rambling about all of the horrible to inexperienced quarterbacks playing in this weeks tilts.

 

I feel for the fans in Green Bay with having to suffer through Brett Hundley and his Happy Feet throwing style vs Joe Brokeback Flacco. I see Flacco's game rolls this week as Ravens beat Green Bay with the return of Woodhead and a back that seems to be improving.

 

Then you have a flashback to the 90's gunslinger days with Fitzmagic vs Jay Cutler, both quarterbacks throw into double coverage not afraid of the pick 6 and the Interception on 1st down.

 

Elaine's boss Nate Peterman makes his debut after the Bills made a dumb desperate trade for Kelvin Benjamin who yes is a great red zone target, but cannot separate off the line.

 

Who's excited to see that Kizer vs Bortles matchup???

 

I am sure the fans in Houston are sitting on pins and needles and buying Tom Savage rookie cards with that juggernaut on the slate featuring Savage vs Blaine Gabbart sounds like the WWF hack vs the kid who played 2nd string quarterback for the Baird School behind Al Pacino's seeing-eye escort Charlie Simms. Hoorah!

 

Cincinnati vs Denver on the surface you think..Playoff potential, playmakers, stout defenses, but dig just a little not to much, and you see Andy Dalton the red pellet gun vs Trevor, Brock whoever does it matter? Start the Paxton Lynch bus.

This Thanksgiving I will give thanks for these waning moments all of us Skins fans get to watch a very competent quarterback try and keep his team afloat in the playoff chase. I do not think he will be around next year. God forbid if we end up with Andy Dalton.
