RTJ Capital Hill Conditions

Wondering if anyone has played Capital Hill recently and if so how are conditions? 40th birthday is next Friday and heading down for 45 holes/day Friday and Saturday. First trip to Capital Hill and staying onsite with group of 8. Judge Fri morn followed by Senator with unlimited. Legislator Saturday morn followed by Judge with unlimited. Also, any good eats for dinner near?

Just had the alabama open at the senator course, so it should be in great shape ... that said, they just did a light pinch of the oxmoor valley site, so this might be the time of year for that all over the trail ... nothing but chain food near the course ... some pubs downtown ... best bet is to find the best bbq places around montgomery and check one out each night ...

Can't speak to the course right now, but agree with other poster head down to Montgomery for better food.

FYI...Maintenance schedules are posted for each trail site online.

 

They've been getting a crap ton of rain lately so expect cart path only.

Yeah, I made sure that punched greens wouldn't be an issue via the website prior to booking . Just looking forward to the trip and hoping for some good conditions. Appreciate the feedback all!

There's a few decent places to eat in downtown Prattville. Possibly check out the Autauga Creek Craft House. They have a nice selection of draft craft beers and several decent places to eat in walking distance. The owners and staff are super nice and could recommend the best food close by.

 

I played the Judge about 2 months ago and it was in good shape. We have had a lot of rain recently, but driving on the course shouldn't be a problem unless it rains the night before you play.
