I have to agree that the insert actually has pretty decent feel/sound. I rather like it. Personally I think it would be interesting if they brought back some sort of high-MOI design like the Spider Blade - but a TP version that looks nice.

 

I really think for me it is the best insert going. It lets me get away with a little, and when I don’t play often, can be a true confidence boost. Seems to get the ball rolling quickly and with some life to it. Not deadening at all to me. I don’t prefer to hit putts hard. The shorter the backstroke the better. I play it in a Chaska but I also like the Juno and Soto a lot.

Has anyone used the TP Admore putter?I have one coming in a week and was wondering what your thoughts are about this model.

I know I posted a little while ago, and praised the silver series Soto that I had, but I have gone back to my Bobby Grace. Taylormade has a great insert here, but for me I ended up finding that I just put better with a softer feel like the Odyssey White Hot type of insert, hence the DCT insert in the Bobby Grace Captiva which sometimes feels even softer that the WH insert, but it is great for fast Bermuda greens that I mostly play on. Perfection would be that soft feel with the 45* groves because they really do help with any skidding and get the ball rolling forward right off the bat. We'll see what the next lineup has in store, and if they can improve the feel of the pure roll insert somehow. Still a fan of the TP collection putters, I just hope that TM doesn't totally screw things up with the next incarnation.
