Mrytle Beach in April

A group of 4 are heading to MB April 6-9. We are looking to play two rounds both Saturday and Sunday. We won't have our own cars so have to rely on either shuttles or taxi services so we would prefer to play 2 courses at one resort each day to eliminate excess travel. Barefoot Resort looks like a good option, which two courses are recommended? Other area resorts or courses that we should look in too?

I'm a fan of the legends resort. I would recommend Heritage Club and then either Heathland, Moorland or Parkland (all links style). Oyster Bay is decent also with a lot of water and I do recall seeing lots of alligators as well; which I enjoyed being a northerner.

Look into Caledonia and True Blue. They're across the street from each other but are sister course so I'm sure they'll give you a ride from one to the other. There is a place on the north side, maybe Ocean Ridge Plantation, that has a few courses.

He's right on. Fazio course at Barefoot also terrific, Dye can be a little too much challenge if mid-high handicappers in the crowd, nobody likes shooting 110 and Dye can do that to a 20 h'capper. If you go Legends package, Oyster Bay is worth the drive.

Yes and Traditions is right next to True Blue and Caledonia if you want to fit in a 3rd course close by.

Thanks for throwing out some ideas. Sounds like Sunday will be two rounds at Barefoot. Playing the Love / Fazil courses and Ruling out the Dye course as we will have two 18 handicaps with us. What about courses in the 60-80 range for Saturday? Couple of them don’t want she’ll out 150 plus per round all weekend.
