Insane bidding for a Ben Hogan Precision 1 iron

I just looked at my '57 BH (2-9) Precisions and realized they have the same serial number (A314N) on the ferrule as this 1 iron.

 

It must be fate. I must win this bid! I'm going to raise it to $1,000 and see who out there has real "Corleones" in their pants!!!

If I was you HAB, I would be thinking the other direction. I would be trying to figure out how to sell my set of Precisions for $1K a club. Think how many sets of Hogans you could buy for $8K! :swoon:
