San Francisco area club fitters

Gents, Ladies,

 

A good friend of mine just had his clubs stolen and was asking me about fitters in the Bay Area. I am from NY, but fairly in tune with the club scene. Anyone mind throwing out some reputable fitters in or around San Fran? He said $ is not an issue.

I’m in pleasanton but been Bay Area for 16 years. Pretty sure I been to them all.

 

Joe Kwok is a friend and top top shelf. He’s all about feel and numbers. A blended approach and he’s really knowledgeable and funny.

 

Kepler’s is good, but there just sort of a weird vibe in there. The work is good, but they sort of tend to be dismissive / make you feel stupid for asking questions. This isn’t all the guys but more than not. They also put a lot of reliance on the Mizuno kit for irons.

 

Club Champion in Danville is a real treat from an A/V standpoint. They have just about everything but are almost entirely about the numbers. Cool toys, but not as much expertise as the above two.

 

I don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. Push come to shove, I roll with all three, in the above order.
