Affordable Dublin Links the first week of this October

I am going to Dublin the first week of October, this year.

 

I would like to play some links golf near Dublin without spending too much money.

 

Any recommendations?

 

Rush, Seapoint, County Louth, Corballis Links, Laytown & Bettystown are on the list.

 

Any comments or other suggestions?

 

I was considering AirBnB.

 

Any different recommendations on affordable places to stay?

That's it....that's your list. not much else to add. AirBNB is the way to go too. If you are trying to not spend too much, I would just do: County Louth & Laytown & Bettystown Of course, I would throw in a consideration for playing both Carton House courses...great value...prob the best value in all of Ire.

I’ve been looking at courses for a trip next year and the €230 for the Boyne Valley Links Pass is great value. Laytown & Bettystown, Seapoint and County Louth. Three for the price of one round at Portmarnock or European Club. Also, Portmarnock Links on Tuesdays is €90 and Royal Dublin is €95 for early AM. Carton House has some great stay and play rates through yourgolftravel as well.

Our caddie at Royal Dublin strongly recommended Corballis and he definitely knows his business.

Corballis is an average shorter course that is good fun, but not anything special by any means. It is a good reco for cheap links golf; however, a few miles up the road is Baltray which is head and shoulders better.
