Real or Fake Tour Ad MT

Picked up a Graphite Design Tour AD MT 6 SR shaft recently. I recall a lot of these being counterfeited. This one looks legit but wanted to get your expert opinions. I’ve attached some pictures. Thanks in advance!

Also you can’t tell in the pics but the faint tour ad logos in the white area are present but don’t show up in pictures.

You should try taking photos against a neutral background, rather than that busy marble pattern. Makes it difficult to see any detail.

I'm not an expert, by any means, but it seems to be missing the tell tale seam running down the shaft that normally runs through the Tour AD logo/ flex graphics. Though it could just be the photos, if I were shopping I'd steer clear of this one based on the photos.

It’s counterfeit. The shading in between the rings is wrong and doesn’t have the label overlap line through “Tour AD”.

I agree it's fake. I've owned alot of MT shafts and the color in the rings is off on this one. Also under the grip the writing looks off.

The print or font of Tour AD, the colors of the shaft are slightly off but it’s missing the fabric fold, which was mentioned already

Why would you not try to return it? I have no idea what you paid, but it has to be way too much for a piece of junk.

I picked it up in an eBay auction for a really good price. Cheaper than what the head itself is probably worth so probably not worth the trouble.

No seam as GoIrish stated, shaft is counterfeit. Although, they are getting much better at the fake Tour AD shafts.
