Just back from a fabulous 10 days in Scottsdale

Ten nights in Scottsdale. Three of us stayed for the whole time in a 3BR condo in the TPC area which made for easy drives to most courses.

Our itinerary was like this, playing golf every day:

Wickenburg Ranch TC

Grayhawk Raptor

Troon North Monument TC

Boulders South TC

Quintero TC

We Ko Pa Saguaro

Desert Forest

Seven Canyons (Sedona) (2 hour drive each way but definitely a must)

Ak Chin Southern Dunes TC

TPC Stadium

Talking Stick O'odham

Consensus was that WKP/S, DF, 7C and AC/SD were the best of the bunch but every course had something special eg the Par 3s at Quintero, the Boulders, the Monument , 16th at TPC .

Grayhawk, Troon and Boulders were still a little damp after overseeding, so 90 degree cart policy.

One of the best things we did was buy a Troon Card which made those 5 TC courses quite cheap.

TPC was expensive but we managed a discounted tee time so it was worth it for the experience.

And we were very fortunate to be hosted at DF.

Our after hours schedule was also worth noting: Oh-So, Phil's Grill, Zinburger, Harold's Corral, The Mission, Los Dos Molinos, In'n'Out, Grimaldi's, and Steak 44 - plus a pizza night at the apt.

Favorite beers: Alaskan Brew Amber, Kilt Lifter, Irish Red Ale and one we can neither remember nor forget.

Amazing scenery. Brilliant golf courses. 11 days of heaven.
