Realistic value of Hogan Apex 4 shafts?

I have a set Hogan irons and the Apex 4's are too stiff for me, recent shoulder injury has made me re think my golf game a bit.I have not seen many around on ebay, curious if they are worth something to someone? 4I-E, standard length as far as i can tell and have very good golf pride tour wrap grips. the 4 iron has a slight tweak at the tip, but everything else looks good.

 

These came off a set of Apex Edge Pro, Tags Have both Hogan and Spalding, so not sure if they are in the "classic" realm yet, 2001-2002. Thanks.

Should get decent money as nobody makes that model of shaft anymore.

Best way to find out is list them on eBay.

There was a guy selling each shaft from a set individually for $15 each or so maybe 6 months ago. Those were the only apex shafts I’d ever seen on ebay.

For several years, I paid $39 to $69 for a set of 8 or 9 Apex 4s on eBay. I haven't purchased any lately, but have noted single shaft prices of $6.99 to $15 each. The newer Apex shafts from the years that Spalding and Callaway owned Hogan Golf seem to bring higher prices.

I picked some odd lefty Apex irons a few weeks ago thinking I'd pull the shafts for a future project.

you can't buy four shafts of that quality for ten dollars but pulling pinned heads is no fun task.

I did see those other apex shafts on ebay... these are the spalding branded apex 4's. I have never sold anything on ebay. I will need to see what the fees and stuff equal out to. I am new here too, and looks like making a for sale post will be a hassle too until i get my post count up. thanks for getting me in the right direction

they match the Maltby pic for the 73 series. two, four, six and eight irons.

I haven't done anything to them yet.

Apex 3 shafts w original grips.

After Callaway bought Spalding/Hogan there were many sets of Hogan Apex shafts for sale on ebay. I recall the same prices, somewhere in the $50-100 range. I picked up a couple of sets and have used them to reshaft some Frankenstein sets of Hogan irons I cobbled together over time.

There are more than a few Hoganistas around the corral here- Some of their posts are impressive.

I have quite a few sets of Apex 4 2-PW shafts just laying around and in some irons. I've always really liked these shafts but maybe it's time to get rid of some. :fie:
