Wondering if anyone has tried it yet and can share their thoughts on its accuracy for range use.

I am interested but it's not been put that long.

Greetings from a fellow Packer fan!

First, understand it took Flightscope two or three firmware updates (most of 2017 IIRC) to get it right. Now, it's very accurate with very few missed shots. I've compared it with both simulators and Trackman. It's accuracy is truly impressive.

In outdoor mode, MEVO will track up to 80 yards of flight. You don't need metallic stickers for this. A fellow poster, RattlesnakeRon, saw a Flightscope patent for a launch monitor that tracked spin accurately if you place the seam perpendicular to your target line. I've done this with MEVO at the range and it's carry distance was just spot on. A top instructor who posts here, iTeach, has stated MEVO actually normalizes spin for range balls!

The biggest benefit of MEVO is its video editing and overlay capability, which basically allows it to video your swing and overlay the data from that swing over the view of the video. Really cool, and helpful if you're into swing video.
