Masters journal yearly collection

Hey all

Just wondering if many others collect the annual Masters journal. I enjoy collecting these and have for a number of years now. Just picked up 2019 and will be getting into it tomorrow.

Also does anybody out there have any older ones they do not want? I would like to collect each yearly issue if possible.

I enjoy reading it when I can find it but don't collect. I did discover those bound, green hardcover books the tournament publishes every year after the tournament with pics, and round summaries, etc. Those are pretty cool. Over time I picked up one each for Tiger's wins and when I had them all gave the set to my oldest daughter along with a brand new Augusta Chronicle from the Monday after Tiger's first win. Picked up the hardcover book from Jack's win in '86 and called it good after that. Those things were getting out of hand a few years ago as far as expense and are ridiculous now, so I just stick to little things like ball markers, lol.

 

Thanks for the reminder, though, I'll have to stop into an actual bookstore in the next few weeks and pick one up.

I have been collecting the Masters Journal since 1992. I have every copy since and plan to continue collecting them.

Cool gig in high school! Did they give you any special benefits after the masters like able to play a round or special merchandise?

I have every Masters Journal from 1994-present, all on a bookshelf

No, only the volunteers got to play. We got paid (didn’t have a choice to forfeit to play) but we got 3 shirts and a sweater that said Augusta National Staff on them. Early 90’s, hideous huge cardboard collars and deep deep V neck sweaters. I sold them all every year. Kind of wish i had kept a few now. I do still have all my work badges at my parents somewhere. I still have my w2’s too.....
