Damn, I had forgotten I had this thread up. For those who cares, the flow neck putter won me 2 consecutive Club Championships and a handful of other tournaments making it the most succesfull putter I have ever had. I have been wanting to update these but something always gets in the way unfortunately.

First time seeing this thread and dang, those are some gorgeous putters. Just curious, have you continued to make the heads or did you stop with just the first two?

Thank you. I have made several new CAD models of potential projects but have yet to pull the trigger due to other stuff coming up all the time. Next one will be my Scotty 009 replica seen below. It was a living hell making it look like the real 009 ( I think its the most beautiful putter out there). But with the current situation in the world the raw material price has gone up a lot, manufacturing costs as well etc.

You nailed the look on this one. Love the thinner top line and the shaping looks great!

I don't think you are allowed to talk prices in here. But both of them were like a Scotty Cameron roughly. This was back in 2019 though. I would expect it's a lot more expensive today.

If you ever look at getting back into it make sure you check out Hudson Made on Instagram, very reasonable for well crafted heads.

I'm sure you already know this, but using an aftermarket hostel (glue or weld...) will save you a ton of money over hogging out all that extra steel to mill a hosel in-place.

 

I ended up revising one of my own designs into a centershaft for this very reason. Well, that and I like center shaft putters... 😉

On your second design with the longer blade, was that 364g with the tungsten weights, or accounting for the tungsten as 303SS?

 

I play a Ping Scottsdale TR and a Taylormade Daytona, both with CF inserts - haven't weighed the heads since I've never taken the shafts off.  I have a Miura KM350 and like the weight of that unit.  I do a lot of machining on large dragline parts, but I have always wanted to do a putter like this.

What a beauty's you've created! Unfortunately i'm an absolute newby to CAD drawings and that kinda stuff, however I would love to create such kind of putter (Anser 2 style) with personalisation as a gift for my uncle (and myself offcourse). Could you perhaps help me out by sharing those CAD (or stepfiles)?

 

Understand if you want to keep them for yourself by the way, but it would be great to create such masterpieces myself 😄

If you don’t know cad how would you get the putter made? Cad is the easiest part of the entire process

I have people in my network who are very experienced with CAD and producing all kind of parts. So I should rephrase it to: "It would be great to get such putter created for myself with some help 😄".
