Biggest Stand Bag for push cart?

Hey all,

 

Long term Hoofer user here, however I cannot carry anymore due to an on-going foot issue that would benefit from a lack of weight.

I'm constantly at the driving range and short game area, and much prefer the convenience of a stand bag here. However if i'm going to use a push cart, I'd prefer something with a bit more room so I can make the most of it, and bring a few extra items I usually go without.

To be honest, i'm almost after a small cart bag with legs.

 

What's a nice big and sturdy stand bag that goes well on a push cart? I'm after maximum size, quality materials without being a fully waterproof bag (the tighter pockets always get to me) and i'm not really concerned if it's a bit heavier.

 

Anyone with thoughts on this?

Probably the Sun Mountain C 130 stand bag.

The biggest stand bag for a push cart is likely the Sun Mountain C130 stand bag, or, Ogio Alpha Convoy 514 RTC bag.

I've struggled with this myself. I ride 75% of the time and Push 25% of the time. Like the idea of a stand for the range, parking lot, etc. But want something big to where I can put all the extra $@!& I carry around! My issues with what is out there is that I really do not like 14 way dividers. I prefer 4 or 5 way dividers. The Sun Mountain C130S and Ogio mentioned above are both 14 way. At some point I will need to figure out if I can live with 14 or not. I've also heard good things about the Bag Boy Chiller stand bag -- again 14 way dividers, though.

I'm debating on how important the stand is to me. I really dont want to go down the cart bag route, but I am considering the Sun Mountain Tour Series. It doesnt have a stand but has 4 way divider, single strap, and is basically a mini staff bag without looking like you're on tour.

Titleist has one in their tour line. I think Vessel might also. Both are on the pricey side, but should give you the space you want. I have the Sun Mountain C130S and it works well for range and push cart.

Take a look at the Bagboy Chiller. Hybrid stand bag made for push carts, with plenty of storage, including a removable insulated bag that holds up to 4 cans. And significantly cheaper than the big logo brands. Beyond that, the Callaway C130 stand bag would be my choice.

Ogio Alpha Convoy range to cart. Was designed for what you described, it has legs for the range or practicing but is largely a cart bag. It has so many pockets I can’t even utilize all of them yet. I love it and it’s very well made with some cool features like a mod case for valuables and removable towel loop.

in case it helps, I have used literally every bag possible on my clicgear. Right now it’s a staff bag without any adaptor or whatever. So any bag works, and there is extra space in the cart, so I don’t really need all the space I have.

Do you know if there's a dual shoulder strap attachment?

Also what is the base like? Kick stand sort of thing for the legs or is it a flat base?

Mine only has a single strap attachment. Here’s a link to the product page. It has a flat base and the legs come out of the middle if that makes sense.

Yeah looks perfect, I could get over the one strap if it had everything else I was after.

Only thing I can't find is if it has a Velcro loop to stop the legs coming out when on a push cart? That's one of the things that drives me a bit insane with my hoofer

There’s a Velcro loop to stop the legs from coming out on the bag too. Keep an eye out on eBay. I found one for half of what it retails for on ogio website from quickshipgolf
