rumor of irons w/ mwt

I was at pro golf in tucson talking to a rep and he told me that tm was coming out w/ irons to replase the rac lt that had movable wieght technology (mwt). Is this true? :tongue:

The only thing I have seen is the new r7max irons that have two weights on either side of the iron but no moveable and it to replace the cgb iron

I like those blades, i would have to consider getting a set of those, i had sworn off TaylorMade stuff, but it looks like i could be off the wagon again, i hate this place. :tongue:

I think in the tm chat we had he said that they had no intention at the time of using moveable weights in irons because they did not see any benefit from it.

BTW - they should come in chrome - not satin, this finish is still reserved for tour-set production.....

So, it looks like the new blades that Goose has are essentially just like the new TP wedges, deeper and bigger "feel" pockets, right? Comparing it to my 2004 TP MB 7 iron, that seems to be the big difference. I was considering moving to the MP60's or the new 695CB, but if these blades are going to be available, maybe I should hold onto my $!!!

Great offering from TM, referring to the satin/chrome finish, it would only make since for them to come out with the blades in chrome wouldn't it, so people could make a combo set out of the 2005 TP's and these? That is one thing that I didn't like about the way Cleveland came out with the CG1/CG2 sets. I really want to make a combo set out of the two of them, but it's just distracting switching from Chrome to Satin halfway through the set!! I think Cleveland either needs to come out with a new blade that has the same finish as the CG4's and 2's, or they need to come out with the CG2 in a chrome finish, which wouldn't look that bad at all. Just my insight though.
