Barefoot Landing Green Conditions 2020

Can anyone attest to green conditions at Barefoot landing courses as of late? Specifically practice green. Annual family (non-golf) trip to North Myrtle and have used Barefoot as a practice facility for my son during the week to prepare for a tournament the following weekend. Last year greens at Barefoot were coming out of a bad spring and really shaggy. Curious if they have recovered or if we should look elseware for putting.

I have not heard anyone complaining about BF this year. I have not played it myself this year.

 

If you are comparing spring conditions one year to summer this year, it's a different situation and it was a mild winter in the east coast,

along with light play in MB, this spring, due to trips being canceled.

 

Do ask about green aeration, which is done in the summer in MB.

Thanks for reply. Comparing summer to summer , same week In June actually. I think they had a bad spring last year is what I meant and it translated into a rough summer.

I played the Barefoot Love and Fazio course 3 weeks ago. Courses were in great shape. A few greens had some rough spots around the edge, but other than that no complaints. Practice green was fine. I would just call and ask about green aeration.

I can only attest for the Dye course but we played it last week and it was by far the best greens we played last week, they were perfect.

To his point, Fazio aerated last week and Dye is doing it this week (15th-19th) so just be aware of that.
