Highest flying urethane ball

What is the highest flying urethane ball, especially off irons?

Nothing flies higher than Pro V1x in my experience. A lot of balls are pretty close but Pro V1x is the highest off driver and long-mid irons. Lots of hang time for me (and I need all the hang time I can get with anything from 7-iron on up through driver).

Second choices (of ones I've tried) might be the Bridgestone (whatever they call what used to be B330 and B330S) or the regular TP5. Not Pro V1, not AVX, not TP5X, definitely not Chrome Soft those are all lower flight.

All this is a moderate clubhead speed, low trajectory, low spin double-digit handicapper. So take it FWIW. But a lot of people with all types of swings will agree about Pro V1x. Titleist mean it to be as high spin and high trajectory as possible and I think they succeed.

I thought TXG showed that the new ProV1 goes further than ProV1x..

I haven't tried them all but for me the ProV1X definitely flies higher than the ProV1.

He’s looking for height. Never said anything about distance. All balls are within a yard or two these days off robot testing.

 

for me the V1x flies high. It’s why I play it.
