Is too much lag a thing?

I have fortunately been able to lower my handicap to 2.5 from 4 in just three weeks. However, I still have some shots like in the video below. I was looking at it and was wondering, is there such a thing for too much lag? I couldn't find anything on Google about it. But if you look at the top of my backswing the angle of the club and my wrist gets a ton narrower, and when my hands start entering back around I try to hold the angle and that throws the club out. Is this something I should fix or modify? Or is it unrelated? I know I have other problems, but just asking if this is such a thing. Thanks

There is absolutely a problem with too much lag.  I’d say 1 out of 10 people who come to me for a lesson have that issue. 
 

Holding the angle is never a good idea.

Would you say that might be a problem for me based on the video?

Would have to see a face on....it’s not helping you for sure. Ive seen a lot worse.

The video is after the picture. Here is a face on of a much better result shot. I have been meaning to ask what you think I could benefit from an online lesson with you? I am missing in the heel a lot, I would say that is my main issue right now.

Not excessive.  The main issue I see and why I wanted to see the face on is the hyperextended left elbow on downswing.  Soften that up.

You don’t have too much lag. You don’t pivot correctly and therefore right arm becomes too straight too soon and path is too far across the ball

100%. I would add that most people who "jack knife" the club's COM too close to their bodies center of rotation have a really hard time "getting that angle out," in time to be reliable.
