He is 8, has had a club in his hand since he was a baby.  He has been taking lessons for about 2 years now.  We have been working on keeping the hip from swaying. He loves hitting driver, this is him with a hybrid.  Need him to focus on wedges a little more.

Love it! Make sure he gets used to swinging hard and fast. The fast-twitch muscles develop the most between his age and around 17. Kid's gonna be a bomber!

He definitely looks like a future bomber! As he gets stronger and faster you'll want to keep an eye on the common kid swing faults and make sure they get smoothed out as that transition period is crucial to taking the next step as a player and not hanging on to old habits. I emphasize that because he has several of them and they are pretty exaggerated (normal for a kid). 

- Extremely strong grip
- Very shut clubface at the top of the swing
- Early extension and stalled hips at impact 
- A big flip with the hands at impact

At his current speed these things aren't a big deal, but as his speed increases, so will the hooks. Some or all of those things will have to neutralize as he gets older, and either he will figure that out intuitively or need to have those changes drilled by an instructor. For now though just him have fun and only start messing with things when the ball starts going left.

Wish my swing looked like that at that age.   As the others have posted,  I would keep encouraging him to swing hard and worry about accuracy later.  You can teach accuracy but you can't teach distance.  As a personal trainer for a few scratch handicap high school golfers, I also encourage your boy to start hitting the gym in his teens.  It will take him to a whole other level.  That theory of lifting weights too young will stunt growth is a load of bs IMO.
