What's the status on Lakecliff in spicewood?

Does anyone here have a status / rundown on Lakecliff? I've read as much as I could find about the previous owners, then ACC taking it over, and now back under private ownership (not much I could find). I've lived in the Austin area all my life but moved out west a few years back. I've been playing falconhead weekly for the last year but it's too crowded to justify the membership. I just played (and joined) Lakecliff but I'm curious if I should be worried about its troubled past...

 

Any intel would be great!

I've played Lakecliff twice in the last six months and loved it.  It's an Arnold Palmer Design with some of the only bentgrass greens in Central Texas.  It's not the most challenging layout but it's fun and the greens are fantastic.  It's semi-private for now as they allow some daily fee play, but I don't know how long that will last.  My buddy and I got paired up with a member our first time out and apparently the buy-in then (last summer) was around $7,500 with monthly dues of around $400 plus green fees, quarterly minimums, etc.  If I lived within 10-15 minutes I'd be all over it, but since I'm over an hour away it's just not cost effective for me.

Fake news. It's $350 a month, all you can eat golf. $125/ month for cart

Update: glad I joined. They are putting a lot of money into it. Bunker renovations are happening now which was the biggest issue with the course. Seems the new owners are doing what it takes to get things back on track out there. Could not be happier about leaving FH to go to LGC.
