I initially bought them in January on eBay. Was told that it was bought from the official dealer but can't confirm on that part

I think he is referring to a rash of fake high end golf equipment that has been surfacing lately. I could be wrong....

I don’t buy enough on the resale market to know that was a problem.

Buy from credible sources and it really isn't a problem but it's out there so yes....spending that kind of cash you have to keep your head up. Having said that.....these look as legit as I have ever seen. GLWS

Appreciate the comment, I have another set that I'm keeping with Oban shafts instead and they look and feel exactly the same so I wouldn't worry.
