Epic Speed weighting

For all of you guys gaming the epic speed, have you found the standard 5gm weight to be optimal or have you found a different combination that works?  I usually prefer a D4 swing weight although can go a little heavier if the weight is more towards the head.  60gm hzrdus im10 shaft currently in

A big factor is shaft length.  I have that shaft in mine at 45.5" and it is D4.

I have a ventus blue 6x playing at 44.75”-ish and it was at D1 with the stock weight. I swapped it with a 12g weight and it feels much better to me. Sitting closer to D4.5 now.

Its all personal preference and shaft length/swingweight.

 

I play at 45" so I use a 12-14g weight depending on which shaft I'm using. The extra 7g brings it up to D4 @ 45".

yea on the callaway website with the 60/70g weight at 45.5 is already D4

I cut my shaft 1/2" and swapped in a 13g weight.  Feels good to me now, maybe a little heavier than stock (which felt a touch light).

I see a few members cut down from the stock playing length of 45.5". I'm thinking of doing the same for better control.  Would you recommend it?  5'7" golfer here

I thought the Epic Speed stock length was 45.75?

I'd suggest choking down and adding more weight to the head as something that is easier to do as an experiment.
