Is this bad or something I should be worried about? I've had it for about 8.5+ years. Noticed this happening this year.

No this is not bad at all.  Many SeeMore users like the look of this.  If you would like to "brighten" the face up, take a brillo pad and move it back and forth from toe to heel to get the shine back.

 

You will bring out the brightness very quickly or if you like keep it like it is.  Similar to how you see copper gutters on homes - it starts out being bright and shiny and then moves to the patina look.
