Pga tour radio

Wish these guys would I.D. themselves when they come back from breaks etc. I never know who I am listening to. Anybody know who was talking 7:30- 8:00 am this morning? For some reason The NFL was on their mind

Yeah I have heard similar. Annoying for sure. Unfortunately I do not know. Anyone???

Oddly I thought the same thing yesterday afternoon.  Ended up not knowing who either were.

Hard listen in the first place, always inserting product pitches smack dab in middle of a conversation and running 12 c commercials in a row. I get it, I'm in ad sales myself, just don't find this method of constant barraging of interest or helpful.  Worse when Breed was/is on the station, what a coincidence everything in his comments and tips end up being ads on his shows too!

It was probably Taylor Zarzour depending on your time zone. Michael Breed is on from 7am-9am central. Then Dennis Paulson and Carl Paulson are on from 9-11. After that it's Gravy and the Sleeze, Colt Knost and Drew Stolz who are awesome. The only reason I have Sirius is because of PGA Tour radio. Sure there's a ton of product pitches, that pays the bills. Kind of how things work.

Not absolutely sure but it sounded like Eric Stoller, former scorpion attack helicopter pilot.  After serving under Colonel John Gournal for nearly 6 years, he retired from the military and did some NFL reporting work for ESPN.

Maybe I am wrong, but is PGA Tour radio available somewhere aside from SiriusXM?  Because that's the only place I have ever heard it and typically the name of the show is right here on the screen....but maybe there are older radios that don't have that capability?

Agreed.  What boils my blood about it is that Sirius is a paid subscription service, and they run PGA Tour radio like a regular old fashioned terrestrial radio station.  6 minutes of ads for every 3 minutes of them bloviating about whatever nonsense they feel compelled to talk about.  OK, take a few phone calls and then back to talking about nonsense.

 

I mean, if you like wasting your time with noise on in the background, then sure, PGA Tour radio is for you.  🙄

You must have a different radio than I've got. Yes, it's a paid subscription but that doesn't cover all the costs incurred from everyday operations the size of Sirius. They still need paid promotion spots like Club Champion and others to pay the bills. I'm in my car most of the day and it's nothing at all like regular old radio.
