Second Opinion on Warning Point

I think Buzzkill has given me an unfair warning point / infraction, and his recommendation was to post here.

 

The thread in question is here:

 

I responded to Buzzkill with the following:

 

"I do not believe I should be given an infraction point / warning for using "a-hole".  It's a word which can be used on television, radio, in schools, and is not classified anywhere as profanity.  

 

If there's a specific list of terms you can and cannot use posted somewhere in the GolfWRX T&C's which lists "a-hole" as forbidden, I will accept the infraction point.  However, it seems extremely unfair here, especially given that I used it to describe Apple (the company), in a thread which I created and responded to in order to save the mods from having to respond. 

 

Please reconsider this "warning" as it seems unwarranted."

 

I believe he may have deleted the thread as well - however the important context here is that even the term "A-hole" was not being used towards anyone - it was used to describe Apple as a company.  The thread itself was me asking for help in a support forum as I was having issues with images displaying as attachments rather than images.  When I figured out the cause of the issue (apple moving to .HEIC versus .JPG format pictures) I referred to Apple as an "a-hole".

 

If other mods would please chime in it would be appreciated because this is an incredibly off putting experience for a long time member who pays for ads and contributes.  This is not a kindergarten classroom.  This is an overreach by a mod who may be well intentioned (or may not), but I feel is doing more harm than good.

It’s consider a profanity whether disguised or not. This is a family and business friendly forum. You should not be swearing in a business or a strangers home.
