Par2Pro Retractable Stealth Screen Reviews?

Does anyone have experience with the retractable Stealth screen? If so, how was the install? Have you run into any issues with the motor?

 

I love the idea of the screen, but would love to hear from those with real world experience before jumping in.

I've seen it used well, some have issues with the black mesh fabric tearing behind the impact screen.  You can get it cheaper if you go manual screen from sportscreen's website and get a compatible screen from Spectrum Golf or sew Velcro onto any screen you choose (if you're a DIY person)

The guy i bought my 10x10x10 frame corners/net had just upgraded to a sportscreen. It was the first time i knew something like that existed. he was nice enough to show me how it works. I'm actually leaning more toward a retractable screen rather than a short depth enclosure since it would make it even easier to still use my garage for parking (My original plan was to build an 8x8x2 or 8x10x2). He did mention it took a couple of months for it to get to him since they're based out of Canada.

 

I saw someone else had created a similar style of roll-up/retractable impact screen using a photo backdrop wall/ceiling roller from amazon (brand was Neewer). Another possibility if you don't mind going heavy DIY

I've had mine for 2 years now and absolutely love it. The service at Par2Pro is first class. The install wasn't overly complicated. You can do everything yourself in a couple of hours but you'll need a helper to mount the screen on the brackets. The trickiest part was setting the limits of the screen so it stops at the right point when it's down or retracted. I've had no issues at all with the motor or mesh behind the screen.

what size did you go with? I’m considering a 16’ which would cover the inside of my garage door. Also in the mix is the 10’ which would go on an opposing wall. 
 

would it be possible for you to post a few pics of your setup?

I ordered a custom size to fit inside my 10x10x10 cage. The final screen width is 4-1/2" less than the rough opening. My screen size is 115" wide x 111" high. Pics are in this thread:

A few more pics below... I mounted the brackets to a top rail of my cage with U-bolts. I also added a 12" high trim piece in front of the screen to protect the roller.

Hmmm..is that all it really is? I have revamped my net a few times now, finally ready to bite the bullet and do a screen so was looking into the par2pro

I've had no issues with mine.  this is the 16' screen with the motorized size panels.  the motors work great.  install completed solo.

I pulled the trigger. After reassessing my space again, and again, and again…I decided on a 12x9 screen. While I would’ve loved the 16’ I’m putting this in my garage and needed to be realistic about the shared space. It should be here in a few weeks which gives me plenty of time to get everything else.

My screen is to be delivered this week. In advance of delivery I was provided with the notices below.
 

I’m surprised they recommend against using Pro Vs or Triple Track balls. Im sure it’s legalese, but details like this would be nice to know before purchase.
