GI Blade?

They feel great probably just behind the MacGregor MTs and the Nike Blades at least in the set I got last week. They also returned to 8620 carbon steel and got rid of the CMM mush metal. Better feeling than the Callaway "blades", the Titleist stuff I tried, and the Cobra stuff as well (and those were all forged 1020 and 1025). Also looks like a muscle back unlike the other stuff.

so they're cast? if so, I'm all over that. I'm so glad they dumped the CMM. that junk wore out quicker than forged metal. useless.

 

yeah, super thick top line. . .I wonder why? and the muscle seems very low, maybe its higher in the short irons.

 

any word on a release date?

the 2nd picture down is a CGred at address, not a cgtour

and after taking a closer look, the 3rd picture is also a CGred. The CGtour has a much more 'square-toe' face profile... and the finish on CGtour has slight brushing from the polishing wheel

I read somewhere the low muscle and thicker topline was to make them a more forgiving MB.

yeah, the real low muscle on these would make for a higher flight, for sure. Not so sold on these...
