Golf Pant Recommendation Help.

I don't like to play in traditional golf pants. I usually play in Lululemon Surge Joggers and I love the fit/feel. Joggers fit my look and comfortability wise they are great. I am looking for a similar looking pant however with other material options. I have been looking at something like the Adidas Warpknit Cargo Pants or Primeblue joggers which look great. I also like the Nike Storm Fit Adv. If anyone can help with some recommendations that would be great, they definitely need that tapered look and would like to have them sit above the shoe/ankles with the elastic band on the bottom or just with a high enough inseam to sit above the ankles and show the shoes.

If $ isn’t a concern, which I didn’t think so since you mention your go to is lululemon I would try greyson montauk jogger. I havent tried out their jogger myself since it’s not my look but I do own several pairs of the montauk trouser and they have been worth the money. Most comfortable golf pants I’ve owned and looks like they are made of the same material.

I've seen on Reddit that one of the GoodGood guys uses these as his primary golf jogger. I like the price so might look into these.

OK but honestly ... I've seen a couple guys out on cold days wearing pants like these (but a little less shiny and without ankle showing) under golf shorts. I think especially to a younger crowd, it doesn't look ridiculous, and for somebody like me who constantly struggles to find golf pants that fit well and would love to be able to wear golf shorts on colder days, it's actually a pretty good idea!

I have some of the adidas warp knit cargo pants. Tapered, with a slim leg. They are a hair long so I will get them hemmed, but they are really nice and might be up your alley. 
 

If you do not mind an elastic waist, there is a brand called Bluffworks that has a jogger. It is really a slim tapered chino, but I have them and like the fit and fabric. I use them for travel, but they would probably work for golf.

Thanks for your response. I've been looking at the warpknit's for a while. Might just pull the trigger. I will check out Bluffworks. I definitely don't mind an elastic waistband.

Yes I have a pair. I'm a skinny dude so they don't really work for me. I think they were designed for more muscular dudes like they use as their models. If you have bigger quads and calves, you'll probably like these. I am not blessed in the calf department, so they look a bit baggy in that area for me. 

 

I like Rhone joggers. They fit much skinnier. Have to unzip them to get my foot out of the hole when I change after my round.

I have never tried Greyson joggers. They don't make my size.

They're certainly not golf specific, but I have been exclusively wearing Birddogs pants with the liners the last two seasons and love them.  I find they have the tapered look you're looking for and you can order them in different lengths to make sure they hit above the ankle.  I also hit the range in a pair of their joggers that my wife got me the other day and loved them.

Good thread, i went down a rabbit hole trying to find some good golf pants. I searched high and dry for extra slim pants with skinny ankles (non jogger style) but had no luck. Then gave joggers a go and was actually pumped on them. Feedback on the joggers (tried a few brands) and as follows:

Primo - theyre just OK. lots of hype and expected theyd be the best but they didnt work for me (theyre pretty baggy pants - not what im looking for). Id expected better quality too
TeeUp Brand - great material but length size options are limited (just a single length) that was too long for me (they bunch up at ankles)
Greyson - Overall i liked these, good material. Price point is a lot more than i wanted to pay
Avalon Golf - They have 2 kinds of joggers - the performance and tour jogger. fit was what i was looking for and fabric was good too (especially good in the tour jogger). And the overall quality seemed to be the best too
VRST Joggers - Nice pants and material. Quality seemed ok too. Length was an issue (too long). Limited color options.
Baleaf Joggers - Amazon brand. best price point out of the lot. Not really a true 'golf pant' though. Ex. cant use a belt with these. Fit was also really weird.

My choice was the Avalon Golf Joggers. Best overall value and quality pant i got. They have lots of colors and you can choose length options too.
