Mizuno wait time?

Ordered my 923 Tours with Modus 120X on March 15th and they arrived April 27th, so 6 weeks. There was an issue at the factory that put them 2 weeks behind their normal 3-4 week timeline. I also asked for D3.5 swing-weight on all the irons, and unfortunately they did not arrive that way and were all different, and with the wrong grips. I bet with the huge delay they're in, there could be some mistakes. I reached out to Mizuno and they were nice enough to send me replacement grips, although I need to wait 3-4 weeks to receive them. Still waiting on the grips, but the lead tape has fixed the swing-weight issue. Clubs do feel great though!

Pretty disappointing but I ordered a single Mizuno pro fli hi on April 24th and just received confirmation my estimated shipping date is May 31st.

 

I’ve never worked in manufacturing but it’s surprising they aren’t doing more or aren’t able to do more to catch up and get back to reasonable fulfillment times

Just curious, anything special about your Fli hi order (custom)? I just ordered one about a week plus ago, it sounds like I’m in for at least 5 weeks of waiting.

I called yesterday to get an update and they said that as of yesterday they were filling orders placed on April 11th. You can use that as a guide for when you placed your orders if that's accurate.

My best friend ordered 4 to GW Hot Metal on 4/4 with Nippon Modulus Shafts and 2 degrees flat.  He received his clubs yesterday, 5/16, a day shy of 6 weeks.

Besides the wait, this is the other disappointing aspect. More than a couple not getting their correct orders.

Further more I was looking at getting back into a set of the 223's and happen to LOVE modus shafts so I went to a few stores to check them out and the attention to detail on all of the sets was horrible. messed up ferrules shafts misaligned grips all over the place etc. I know it's being picky but for a 1300+ set I would expect a bit more. I hard passed on a set and went with Titleist T100S. Much better build!

Thx.  Guess I am realistically expecting mid-June at the earliest for my end of April order of 923 HM irons.

That is why I ordered off the secondary market for the 923 tours, why wait for weeks and end up having to deal with BS issues.

The gap wedge came today so I will reshaft it to match the set, but it still pisses me off they would not sell me one stinking ferrule (icon) so the set will match and you have to bet they have a box of thousands of them and paid pennies for them.

 

Too bad we have scared off all the Company reps, I would love to hear the excuse for not supporting a customer that buys quite a bit of gear and as much as I like the 923 tours there are more than likely Mizuno wedges coming soon.

 

Yes I bought them from someone else, but they bought them direct so they made their money upfront.

 

Anyway the 923 tour are sweet feeling sticks.

Well that feels promising - should mean they fill my 923F order on Friday (placed April 14th). Perhaps they will finally come in next week.

April 25th order here 4-PW 923F. Keep refreshing this page to see what order date they are on. Hoping the number of orders slowed down shortly after the masters in order to beat the 5 week estimation. Keeping fingers crossed.

I placed my order on the 14th as well for 923 forged and he said he would expect them to ship next week.

I just got a shipping notification from FedEx last night. Tomorrow is the delivery day.

 

One,  S23 50 degree gap wedge, Recoil 460 F3 shaft, grip not installed on club. Ordered April 3rd, delivery date - May 19th. 6 weeks, 3 days. That's for a single club head installed on a shaft and a grip tossed in the box.

 

Never again. It's time to look closely at Sub70 and other DTC offerings.

Not really.  Stock shaft, standard length and lie.  I did request the loft adjusted a bit but that shouldn’t be a big deal

Honestly, that’s a ridiculous lead time for 1 club… early April “system issues” or not.

 

Starting to wonder how ancient Mizuno’s order fulfillment process is if 1 wedge is @ 6+ weeks.

I just got the call that my clubs have arrived. 923F + two S23 wedges. This is in Sweden,  of course im traveling this week and can’t pick them untill next weekend.

Any ideas how long shipping time is? Fitter told me yesterday that they had a tracking number but the number didn’t work. Making a golf trip to a couple high profile courses west of me the end of next week so was really hoping to get some range time and maybe a round in. Guessing I’ll be playing my old set so I don’t have to learn new clubs on a new track.

Same thing happened to me.  By the end of the day the shipping info populated and then they arrived two days later.

Ordered a set of 225s on 4/12 and just got my shipping notification. 
 

was quoted 3 weeks, took 5.

Good to know. I ordered April 14th so I’m hoping I get them next week. I’ve heard shipping is only 2-3 days.

According to my shop orders from the 14^th have shipped today. Anticipated shipping for my order is mid to late this week...so feels like poor chances of the order being available when I get home on the weekend. Kinda pissed as this tells me that my order wasnt placed until the following week.

was just told by Mizuno that they are working on shipping out 4/14 orders. I ordered on 4/21 and they said for that date would be first week of June ship which would put me at 6 weeks

I ordered combo set 223/225 on 4/20. I am a very impatient person this is tough lol

Great choice! For a major company such as Mizuno who's current slogan is "built for custom", I would hope their build process improves. I also had miss-aligned shafts and grips to go along with the incorrect swing-weights. I was on the fence about ordering the T100S instead of my 923 Tours, but ultimately I went with the better feeling iron at time of fitting, which was multiple sessions over a few weeks. I'm going to give the Mizuno's the season to really prove their worth, and if I can get used to them and be happy with the choice then I'll keep them. Other option is to order the current or the new T100S when they get released (supposedly) in the fall.

Ordered on April 18 through Carls Golfland.  Originally was supposed to ship this week, Mizuno today say they expect mine to ship May 26 or 30th. 
 

to say I’m losing my mind waiting would be an understatement haha

Mine were ordered on April 17th.   Called Mizuno today and they said Apr 17 orders should be shipped Thursday or Friday
