Sun Mountain C-130 14-way vs 5-way, can I arrange my clubs this way?

So I wanted a new cart bag and I traditionally like a 5 way top so the clubs can group together (I feel there is less chatter this way).  Well the color options for the Sun Mountain C130 5-way leave a lot to be desired.  I really like the blue in the 14 way and the spacing allows for  two clubs per slot in many of them.  
 

Will putting the clubs in same slots lead to excessive grip wear? 
Should I just get the 5-way to make things easier? 
 

Also, a couple things I noticed about the magnetic range finger pocket.  It is kind of small, hard to get your hand in and out to pull out the range finder.  Also a lot of the flaps on bags did not seal right, it’s like they weren’t assembled correctly, creased, or stitched a little off leaving a gap.  Could easily see rain getting into the pocket. 
 

I found one in the color I wanted that sealed properly so I grabbed it right away.

So it's just the chatter that bothers you? You may be a legit candidate for club head covers. 

 

I have a Sun Mtn H2NO with the 14-way top. I chose it because I was tired of fighting to get my clubs into and out of a 4- or 5- way bag (too much grip tangle). It seems like doubling up the irons like you're doing would seem like a step backward w/r/t the grips getting tangled. 

 

The club heads do tend to "slosh around" more because they don't next against each other like they would in a bag with a few bigger slots. Mostly I notice this in my SUV when the clubs are riding in the back. It doesn't bother me on the course or when using my pushcart. 

 

I have a couple of large towels on my bag and I try to remember to pull the ends up and tuck them among the club heads which cuts way down on the chatter. I also keep a couple of jackets and quarter zips in my trunk so I'll usually pile those under the end where the club heads lay. Problem solved.

They won't chatter if you use head covers. I don't want my $120 irons to get banged up for the lack of a $2 cover.

Check your grips after a month as they might need to be replaced… if I am not mistaken there is a sleeve for each slot which might tear after some time

I apologize in advance for stealing the thread. I recently got a C-130 bag and would like to get a new push cart. Which cart do you use and how well does the bag fit on it?

I got a Rovic RV1 and I like it a lot. The bag rides on it perfectly, and doesn't jostle around or twist.

One round into a new C130 2022 bag and the rubber on the top handle is defective. Don’t know if it came to me that way but didn’t notice when I took out of box and loaded the bag. I had heard that this rubber fades quickly from the sun. But nothing about it’s durability. Sorry I made purchase now. Waiting on response from eBay shop that sold it to me.
