what were your highlight's?

Obviously Dornoch where i shot 75-76 on Monday and Tuesday. 

Narin was great and seems underrated

Cruden Bay had some of the best views just wish they had not punched the greens

Brora was a fun throw in course.  Not that hard but i would play it again.

Royal Aberdeen most penial if you missed the fairways and had the greens that broke the most like the courses back home.

New Course and Jubilee, both fun with Jubilee much more difficult

Carnoustie, maybe we had it on a easy day but not as difficult as i imagined.  Probably best pro shop

Crail good starter course off the plane.  

 

Might regret not sleeping at the start shack to play TOC but was happy playing the New and Jubilee.  Thought i bought a bunch of swag but looking back should have bought more.

The whole town of St Andrews is so good, playing the Old Course is fantastic, its weird it is not the best golf course but to me its just so fun - hard to explain it, the more you play it the more you like it. I am hopefully playing there this month with a friend but looking more likely October now.

 

Glad you had a great time; you would have loved Royal Aberdeen today nice 33mph wind and I lost 3 balls in the first 3 holes then was 3 under for the next 13 holes then finished double, bogey and lost our fun match!

 

I still really want to play Dornoch!

 

When you thinking next trip?

 

Funny I am heading back to Houston in November and will do lots of golfing! my residents pass for Memorial is still valid so back to my stomping ground!

I would gladly pass on RA in 30 MPH winds!

 

Dornoch was awesome and you need to get up there.  I wanted to play Tain as well but ran out of time.  

 

It will be at least 2-3 years before we make a trip over again.  Wife says she needs a trip next year..

 

I use to live right by Memorial but have not played it since the redo.  It should be in great shape in Nov considering the PGA event is the end of OCT.
