top 12 courses that u can play around florida

iam from sweden and iam going to visit USA for the first time in november iam staying in orlando florida.

can anybody help me to pick out 12 courses in orlando and about 2 hours drive and maximum 30 minutes drive grom there
i have already picked out two courses tpc awgrass and victoria hills and southern dunes and world woods there are 8 more

any help would be great i have looked at pictures at orange county national that course looks doll to me
have any of you played seminole or pga national the champion or bay hill or ocean hammock beach or innisbrook wich of these courses shall i pick out
can anybody help me out to play seminole that would be great.

There are hunreds of very good courses courses within 2 hours and 30 minutes from Orlando. That range gives you everything on the East coast of FL between Sawgrass to the North and West Palm Beach to the South as well as the West Coast of FL around the Tampa Bay area. If you can provide a little more information, I can provide a more focused list of recommendations. How much do you want to spend? Are you interested in the most memorable courses no matter how expensive? Is it primarily a golf trip where you would travel wherever you want each day to p[lay golf or are you going to be based in Orlando the entire time and focusing on other things like Diseny World and Universal Studios?

 

You don't really have to leave the Orlando area to play 12 (or more) Excellent courses. However, they will be expensive, but at least the strong Euro against the weak US Dollar should make it less painful for you.

 

Here is my list of my favorite Oralndo area golf courses:

 

1. Orange County National (2 courses) PGA Q school was held here in 2007

2. Reunion Resort (3 courses) LPGA play here and Annika has her golf school here

3. Championsgate (2 courses)

4. Southern Dunes

5. Bay Hill - Arnold Palmer's home and PGA tour venue

6. Grand Cypress (2 courses)

7. Victoria Hills

8. Disney World (4 courses) - PGA tour event is played here on the Magnolia and Palm courses, but the Osprey Ridge course is my favorite.

9. Celebration

10. Legacy at Alacqua Lakes

11. Mission Inn (2 courses - El Campeon is the better one)

 

There are many other good courses in and near Orlando, including : Black Bear, Debary, Diamondback, Falcon's Fire, Metrowest, Mystic Dunes, Orange Lake, Marriott Oralndo World, Palisades, and Shingle Creek.

 

If that is not enough golf and you really want to drive farther away, these are some great courses:

 

Tampa area: Innisbrook (2 courses -Copperhead is the better one) and World Woods (2 courses - both are great)

 

Port St. Lucie - PGA Village - (3 great courses)

 

West Palm Beach - PGA National (5 courses), Emerald Dunes, Links at Boynton Beach

 

Melbourne - Baytree

 

Jacksonville region - TPC Sawgrass (2 courses - the Stadium is the famous one where the PGA tour plays), Amelia Island Plantation (3 courses), and World Golf Village (2 courses plus the golf museum)

PS - Not sure what you meant about "doll" photos of Orange County National. If you meant "dull" or "plain" it's not. It is very nice and challenging. You can forget about getting to play at Seminole.
