I play the 2022 AVX YELLOW.....not sure if I wanta try new BRX

As above states , not sure if trying the yellow BRX will be any gain in performance?  any thoughts?

Buy a dozen and see, it's a cheap test and they are very comparable spec wise. But you need to see if you like one over the other.

It will depend on your swing speed and which irons you play. Mostly.

my feeling it wont be a soft as the AVX...might save my money and stick with AVX

They are both moderately low compression balls and should both feel softer than a V1. The differences many will see are spin rate (BRX is lower) and maximum height (BRX is higher).

 

Conceptually, the BRX is a maximum distance ball with adequate (ish) stopping power because of its height and cover. The AVX is lower and slightly spinnier, intended for those with zero or even positive attach angles (pickers) to keep their trajectory closer to an optimal height.

i played the 2022 B RX today having previously been playing the 2022 Chrome Soft.  I found that it feels a little softer than the CS but definitely has more distance, especially with the irons.  Also noticed that I did not give up any spin with the RX.  It seems to check up on the greens really well. 

 

In my own analysis, I think you will find that distance wise, they are very comparable; however, the RX will spin more with approach and pitch shots than the AVX.  Even thought the RX is supposed to spin less than the RXS (it's sister with supposedly more spin), I've seen a number of tests where it shows that it actually spins comparably to the RXS.

 

I'm going to continue playing it because I definitely gained some distance with it and didn't have to sacrifice feel or spin.
