Single strap bag people come in

Caddie here. Whenever I carry a single strap bag I find myself using my right hand to push/rotate the bag so it’s still being carried more across my back/bottom than truly on the side. If I’m not doing that I am resting my hand on the driver headcover. 
 

The biggest downside of a single strap is never really having 2 free hands. 
 

Agree with the post above that pings carrying well when only using 1 of them 2 straps. Titleist bags don’t seem to balance as well for me regardless of if I’m using 1 or both straps.

I use a single strap Projekt Sunday bag when I carry but it's either 8 or 9 clubs. I prefer the single v. double but when I play 14 clubs it's clic gear for me. I find 14 clubs too taxing on the back and shoulders, that said I'm playing 5x a week so trying not to wear myself out.  I personally can't see carry 15 to 20 pounds on one shoulder for 15k steps across undulating terrain.

I’ve been using a vintage single strap Benson bag and I’ve noticed that it can tip towards the club heads if I don’t have a full water bottle in the ball pocket. Have any of you had this issue with modern single strap bags? I normally play 13/14 clubs and looking at a Jones Original.

Bought this guy a few months back, love everything about it, just wish it had the cart strap well. Been waiting on Vessel to re-stock their single straps too. Compared to the TM Vessel single strap the one this bag comes with just isn't the "best" IMO. Should swap out perfectly.

 

The 2 piece base really helps with club tangle as well.

I have the Sun Mountain C130S, it checks all the boxes for me, plenty of room, light and stands, like a cart bag but lighter...

The dual strap is so nice that I don't think I'd use the single strap on this one.  I'm looking to sell it though and just stick with the Jones Original and commit to walking with a half set full time.

Late reply, but I have 2 single strap bags that I use. I've got a PING Moonlite (previous generation) and a Jones Players Series. Both are very light, but I tend to use the PING more. I got the Jones for its aesthetics. I've used double straps in the past, but for whatever reason I get a headache every time I use them.

I have a double strap maxfli air that I carry 7 clubs in as my regular bag.  Throughout a round I'll carry it as a suitcase, as a single strap, and as a double strap.  Seems to me the more options you have the better.

Jones look really good and I like the pockets. I prefer how the double straps on the moonlite distributes the weight across my shoulders. 

 

Maybe I'm over packing.
