courses within 20-30 min of kierland?

staying at westin kierland for a few days and wondering of courses in the area other than the resort course.  i've researched courses and a lot of the top recommendations are 30-40+ minutes away.  i have wekopa booked but i'm going with the wife and looking for some more local options.

also - what the hell happened to the pricing lol?  haven't been in the last few years, bit of a shock.

you’re close to all the expensive courses in scottsdale. Maybe legend trail, ambiante, gray hawk? Wildfire?

We Ko Pa is one of my favorites, so good choice!

In that same direction you can check out Eagle Mountain and Sunridge Canyon.

 

Camelback Ambiente is close and a great course.

we ko pa was 199.  no issues with that.  lots of courses are over 200, and don't know if i've seen any under 150.  even kierland is 180.  just seems like everything has sky rocketed more than everywhere else in the country.  wildfire 270 weekend..

Hmm...not sure what map you are looking at for distances.

 

Troon north is 20 min away; Wildfire is 10 min, Grayhawk 10m,  Camelback 10 min, TPC 5 mins, Legend Trail 25 min|||| Mcdowell Mtn 10 min, Orange Tree 5min, Stonecreek 10 min, Talking Stick 15 min, Starfire 5m, Mccormick 10 min, Phoenecian 10 min

yeah pricing everywhere in the valley has grown exponentially since the start of covid.  

 

Even with discounts for resident rates or Troon Card, etc., the prices are still gross.  Even worse if the fact that tee sheets are completely full on the weekends even with the rates.
