Tensei AV raw white hybrid question

Looking at ordering a Tsi3 hybrid and was only able to demo the 90g stiff in the 20 degree head. With the torque of S and X both being 2.5 will there be much discernible difference between the 2 other than the 3 grams difference in weight?

 

I swing driver in the 106-110 so I think the X would be a better fit but haven’t had a chance to hit it.

Not to sound like captain obvious but they are a full flex apart, so yeah you’re likely going to notice that, heh. Weight and torque are not indicators of stiffness with composite shafts.

No offence taken. Appreciate the response. I couldn’t find a CPM chart for them to compare so I was curious.

X flex could launch lower and spin less not to mention affect dispersion.

No prob, didn't want to sound like too much of a smart a** lol. CPM charts can be tricky unless you're getting readings from both handle and tip, and ideally you'd have a mid point as well but that is uncommon. There are instances where handle CPM for example might not change much between flexes, but mid and tip CPM will be quite different, so the shafts will look similar on paper if you're only getting a handle CPM measurement. Within the same shaft model though you can assume a normal CPM difference between flexes.

Obviously, super late to this thread, so this is for passerby's; it's a helluva shaft. 

 

After trying X and S flex, I bought S because I saw a slight distance difference down range.  Also, it's easier to turn over, which tipped the scale.  IMO, in this type of high-bend shaft at utility 39.75" length in 2 iron, dispersion is directly tied to the users' ball striking skill.

 

For this mere mortal, since 2023 I have had Tensei AV Raw White 90 gram stiff flex in my new T200 17' 2 iron; not a hybrid guy.  No LM stats to share, just what my bones can muster down range.  Last weekend, during a round, was getting over 200 to as much as 220 straight, with two baby draws thrown in.  Used 6 times, 4 off a tee and two Par 5, 2nd shot layups, dispersion was ZERO.  I believe that it's out of production now, replaced by Tensei 1k Pro hybrid.
