To me, the 223 aren’t in that bracket. They seem to have more forgiveness in them and are definitely not blade-like to me. Pro221 maybe?

Was just fit into them this week...found them much more consistent and forgiving actually to the T100's (I was expecting to leave with these). Was a toss up between the I59s and the MC's in the end. The 223's were pretty hot, but wasn't looking for distance mainly dispersion.

Ended up going P7MC 7-PW and 770 4-6...slightly concerned with gapping but I will address that when they arrive. The 770's were rocketships.

I felt the same. Hit them against the 223, i230, TCB and T100. Dispersion and distance came down to i230 and the P7MC and the P7MC felt better to me.

I've hit the P7MC's against the T100 and the Mizuno JPX 923 and the P7MC felt the best to me.  I'm ordering a full set of P7MC's this week.

The P7 MC's have a pretty special feel for sure

I have had them in the bag for a couple of months. Feel is outstanding! Maybe not quite as forgiving as some of the irons you mentioned, but the feel and feedback are as good as any iron I have ever played.

I played last year's P7MC as well. Not a major change to the new model, but I feel there are subtle improvements to the look and turf interaction.

I have had them for about 3 weeks now, but have only played with them once due to other obligations.  When they arrived 3 of the clubs were a full 1/8" too short.  I had to buy the three new shafts myself, but TM took care of me with a comparable $$$ amount of TP5x balls.

Since I had to reshaft three of them, I went ahead and did all 7 with BB&F ferrules and they turned out incredible!  The pic is the 5 iron before I turned the ferrules.  I will say, I've built probably a dozen sets of high-end irons (Miura, Scratch, Mizuno, other TM irons), and the P7MC's are the most consistent weight progression from head to head that I've personally seen... almost exactly 7g between every head.  I only had to add 2g - 4g per head to get swingweights to D3 (4-9) & D4 (PW).

Compared to my P750 Tour Proto's, the P7MC's look very similar at address, almost identical.  The MC's have a slightly straighter leading edge, and quite a bit more leading edge bounce (which makes them noticeably better through the turf for my slight "digger" swing).

Feel wise, the P750's feel mushier, more muted while the P7MC's have a really nice, dense "click" at impact, and maybe the best feel of any iron I've ever played when pured (subjectively, of course, but that includes Miura 1005CB's, 202CM/MB, the original tour issue Miura Forged TM RAC CB's, the 2005 Tour issue RAC CB.  Out of all of them, the original Tour issue TM RAC CB's are probably the closest in feel).

Gorgeous build, did you match the grips to the ferrules?

Okay, I just had my best round in a long time so I had to post it.  I hit some of the best iron shots I've ever hit today.  Driving and putting were the highlights, and I know GIR's look weak, but we played from the tips (I haven't played from the tips in ages... in fact I'm old enough to play from two tee boxes up in our association events, haha).  Even when I missed greens today, most misses were solid shots to the strategic miss... ie:  pin on the front, deep swale 6 yards past the pin, 147 to the pin into the wind, 8 iron 18" short of the green, 10' to the flag).  I flushed so many iron shots today.  If I could have chipped the ball a little better I could have been 3-4 strokes better.

The '23 MC's are the best irons I've ever played.  More forgiving than you would think, and the feel is crisp, but muted and dense and flushed shots feel so, so good!

Doesn't seem like the P7MCs are getting much love. Other brands seem to get more of the spot light.

Prob Because they are a straight up forged CB. No magic tungsten forgiveness magic dust.

I love mine. Feel great, look great and are Consistent in distance

Dang was hoping the P7mc had some magic dust on the course. Maybe a plain forged cb is just what I need to shoot lower scores? Cause jacked up lofts, tungsten loaded, goo filled, players distance sticks don’t. 😂

Since Mizuno forgot about lefties with the MP20, I tested out a bunch of irons for my 4i slot.  This wasn't on my radar as TM aren't an iron I think about.  Absolutely one of the most consistent irons for ballspeed and dispersion I've tried.  1.4 efficiency is unheard of for this type of club that's almost blade-like.  The Ping Blueprint is very similar to this iron.

Still love mine.  Best irons I've hit.  I've actually picked up about 1/2 a club distance with them over my 750 Tour Proto's, but the 4 & 5 iron aren't quite as easy to hit as the 750 Tour Proto 4 & 5 iron.

I just recently added the 2023 TM P7MC 4 iron over my P7MB 4 iron.  Very pleased with the P7MB's.  With the P7MC I found it launched a hair higher with a few hundred more spin which is what I was looking for.  They feel great.  I was not a fan of the earlier version but for some reason these new version feel great.  Deciding if I want to add 5,6 iron for the mixed set.

Can you tell me a bit about your swing characteristics. Keeping almost pulling the trigger on a mc/mb combo set with the MMT 125tx but just not sure how it’ll fit. I’ve literally played everything under the sun, KBS Tour, Tour V, C Taper, $ Taper, PX, DG, all in x stiff and can basically play any of them. Just really want to move into graphite

I have played ctaper 130x, DGx7, x100, px6.5 (most of the heavy hitters)

125tx is real good. I hit lots of balls so it is very stable but nice on the elbows (here in Canada I hit off frozen mats all winter in sub zero temps)

Right now I am a +0.4 hcp. i swing my 6iron at 98mph and carry it 205 with about 6k rpm (confirmed on gc quad at TXG)

they are great, no issues with swing weight as they are tip heavy. East to work, can flight them down real easy.

I have the MMT 125TX softstepped into my P7MB and MC (4 iron only) and they feel awesome.  Soft and gentler on my elbows.  I am a +3 and my 6 iron is 185-190 carry.  Decent angle is 45+ but my spin is lower than I like - 4800-5200.  Going for a shaft fitting tomorrow for the P7MB/MC to see if I should be using another graphite shaft.  Fortunate to own the Quad and the Mitchell loft Lie machine so I am playing with adjustments to see if I can get my spin up a hair.

I would say go hit them for sure.
