Interesting MyTP Juno pickup

Hi gents - I picked up this interesting Juno intending to pull the shaft and grip but it rolls nice so I may hang onto it for a while. Couple of questions I was hoping you all could help with. 
 

1) Is there any way this could be fake? The “Taylormade” on the sole is missing the “l”. Lol. 
 

2) It sure seems light. I know the weights they put in these heads varied quite a bit but I bet this thing is close to 330 at 34.5”. 
 

Someone definitely had it personalized on the bumpers and it looks like someone didn’t like that and painted over it poorly. I really like the minimal toe hang of the long neck. Pics below. Thanks!

Just a guess…

 

It should be either black or silver, but appears to be neither. The “P” and the line dividing the label appears to be too shallow. The model is known to be quite heavy-headed, rather than light as you have found it. 
Possibly someone ground down the base, killed the “l”, and refinished it.

Not a bad guess. My lighting is pretty bad and I do think it is the normal TM black finish but with some wear on the sole. I did a little digging on the weight and I found another post here where someone weighed the head of a long neck Juno with 15 gram weights and it came to 357 grams. That would put this one at 332 which feels about right. I also found an article about Morikawa switching out the 2.5 gram weights in his Long Neck to 7.5 grams and he played that putter at 34".

They dont do that. TM will not 'run' a serial number for any clubs as they dont tell the CS reps anything about the product.

 

Also sometimes tour issue heads will have QC issues because the pros dont care as long as it performs.

I have a custom Soto LN and it came with the 2.5g weight from the factory and a very light head weight.

Also, can confirm that all the letters are there.

Have heard around that the QA on these customs are pretty horrible after I ordered. Site dot is very slightly off-center on mine but nothing bad. Have seen one were the sight dot was all the way next to the neck as well, so I think it is what it is when it comes to these. There is a reason a full custom putter never costs <$300 which is what I paid for it on Black Friday, corners will be cut.

Either way, stupid thing keeps beating the Scotty's away from the bag so it is staying for now. Trying to find a true custom milled option for permanent replacement in the mean time.

All good info to know. I am putting lights out with this stupid thing and now I'm debating if it's worth trying to get the bumper stamps removed. I've been joking with my brother that "D HUF" (the bumper stamps) refuses to be kicked out of the bag. Of course I could order one like this direct but who knows what I'll get. LOL.

I know, I really want to convert a Special Select to a LN for the feel off the face, but just so much money in the putter and the work.

I mean if you are going with a site dot only on it, I feel like you might be able to just order it bare and either (very carefully) mill a dot or have it done at a shop to make sure it is centered. 

My buddy just got a custom GTx in and there were no issues for what its worth when talking about the QA.
