where to find the best quarter-zips for the price?

Does anyone know a place or have a brand where they get good quarter zips? I'm always trying to find them online, hard to determine if they're for winter (which I'm looking for, mainly to wear in the office) or a lighter summer one?

 

I have some Under Armour and Nike ones that are golf specific, can't seem to find them currently.

Maybe it's the way I read it, but your post is a bit confusing...

 

You want one to wear in the winter (so I assume a heavier material), but then you say specifically while in an office (so not heavy as you're indoors)?? Also, you said "best for the price", but didn't say what price range you are wanting to stay within...

You're right, let me clarify:

 

I'm looking for a pullover thats a little thicker, more performance apparel. Seems the ones I like are the nike tour performance that are 100% polyester. What I'm trying to avoid are ones that more of a fleece (ala the Under Armour Stormfleece). Thought about some Peter Millar, but I can't tell which ones are thinner material, hard to determine just from online. 

 

I've had some Cutter and buck, always felt that were a little long in the sleeve.

It is really soft and stretches well, so it's not a major swing hinderance.  I would call it medium weight.  It is comfortable to wear around the house without getting hot.  I would say it's good for down to maybe 50 degrees if you are moving around.  Much below that or with a lot of wind and it may get chilly.  

 

I found them to run a little big, which is probably on purpose to not restrict your swing.  I usually wear medium, and found it to be slightly large for me.  Again, good for not hindering my swing, but a little baggy for casual non-golf wear.  So I got a few in small which fit more like a slim-fit medium in a normal sweater.

Haha that's one of the reasons I do like C&B! I have longer arms and sometimes struggle to find 1/4 zips that come down to my wrists.

 

Rhoback is one of my new favorites, but I'd categorize it as more mid-light weight. Great for 50 - 60 temps, but I wouldn't wear it for anything under that without another layer underneath. 

 

FWIW I like PM a lot and own a bunch of their stuff, but every time I buy something from them I do feel that I overpaid at their prices. Best if you can hit them during one of their sales.

 

Johnnie O is one I forgot to mention earlier. They make solid stuff at a little lower price point compared to PM. They also list if it light, mid, or heavy weight in the site description.
