Warning and closed my ad….I’ll just go back to eBay, Facebook, sideline swap and the 50 other sights where you can make a new listing.  Could have just added to the first listing and gone around it…..Overloaded with ads now….Peace

You didn’t follow the the 24 hr rule of closing an ad and waiting. You acknowledge the warning but still blame the site and mods. Yes, the mods will warn you for this outburst too. Good luck to you.

Some rules are made to change!  If I pay for a ad to be pinned I should be able to add stuff to the ad…just saying.

No, then the same pinned ads would be there forever circumventing other rules which is why it was created in the first place.  
 

Not theory, or guessing, it was abused and why the members instituted it. 

As the OP stated, there are many other places to list items if you disagree with the rules the members made. These are rules the members made.

As per the stated and posted rules, you can add items before it’s pinned. You cannot add items once pinned and even unpinned. This is to prevent monopolization of the pinned area. It’s stated in multiple areas. If caught by mods, the fees are forfeited.

These threads are hilarious-knowingly break the long standing BST rules and complain when you get caught, make statements to the effect that you’re taking your ball and going home and probably posting another bast ad as soon as you can

Because the heaviest of heavy users who were borderline running a small business in the BST would have the same pinned ad open for months and months just constantly adding stuff to it. The rule is in place for a good reason.

Honestly eBay has become a sh*t show when it comes to selling golf equipment, they bang you over the head in fees and then fees on top of that.I personally have found Golfwrx transactions smoother (because of the community and the value most place on their reputation here) and I end up with a few more dollars in my pocket after each sale, than if I would of sold it on eBay (sellers fees). I have been selling/buying (at least a few transactions a year) on this site since 2005. I have received a few warnings for BST violations over the years (I think 4 of them dating back to 2013, mostly the 24 hour rule thing, and they were brain farts on my part) hasn't affected my selling status or anything else. Just reminded me to be a little more cognizant of the rules. I think the BST rules have kept this a good place to sell (especially for guys like me who like to buy a few variations of clubs and then sell off the ones that don't make the final cut), because it keeps it fair for all of us, whether you sell volume or sell once a year or two.

I think there's at least 3-4 guys running businesses out of the BST. I can't prove it so I won't name any names but a few seem obvious to me.

I've not sold tons of stuff on here as I'm not a serial flipper or running a business but I've had a fair amount of ads over the years.  I've never found the rules to be difficult, although the restriction on new shafts is a bit inconvenient at times. 🤷‍♂️
