Kai'li Blue 70x Stiff - 2020-2021 similar brand?

Hey all,

I was recently fitted for a 5 wood and was fit into a Stealth2 Plus with the Kai'li Blue 70x Stiff. I love that shaft, smooth as butter for me but $450 is too rich for my liking. Based upon the specs of that shaft, is there a similar OEM shaft for any of the 2020-2021 clubs? I'd love to pick up a used 5W in the $200-$250 range. I mostly play TM but would be fine with Ping or Titleist as well.

Check out Project X RDX Blue.  Profiles of both shaft are the typical blue (stiff butt, stiffish tip, softish mid).  RDX Blue came out in late 2020 and was OEM for a number of brands.

This is counterbalanced so will have a different balance point even if profile is similiar-ish.

I'd recommend sticking with the Kai'li blue but getting a used head instead.  OG SIM ti(my gamer) can be had for cheap nowadays and the combo would probably fall right into your budget.

Agreed.   Other than the counterbalance, however, the profile is very similar.

 

@Midwest_Golfer, Tensei AV Blue is another choice and a common OEM option.  AV blue is just slightly counterbalanced, but not as much as RDX Blue.

If you want similar but budget friendly, look at the old Atmos tour spec blue. 

 

Cobra used them as a OEM shaft back in the F9 series.  They will be colored black rather than white but are the real deal.  Just make sure it says tour spec on it.
