TSi2 Fairway wood, possible counterfeit?

Purchased a used 16.5 degree TSi2 fairway wood off ebay from a large golf reseller (100s of thousands of reviews) to replace my TS2 16.5.  A few things stood out as possible red flags.

 

-Headcover was has a tag on the inside that says made in China, from what I've read, headcovers are supposed to be made in Vietnam (my TS2 one is made in Vietnam).  Maybe they just grabbed one from a pile and accidentally grabbed a fake idk.

-Clubhead serial number doesn't match shaft serial number on Titleist adapter.  It's possible they swapped out shafts so not necessarily a red flag, but the club is pretty mint so doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

-Loft at address seems way too high, it looks like 18-19 degrees (I have no way of verifying this though).

 

I did weigh the clubhead:

203g (without the weight)

9g Std weight

212g combined weight

The screw in weight seems real, of course I'm not sure though.

Everything else "looks" real/high quality, but the combination of headcover, serial numbers not matching, and visual loft that is making me question it.

 

Can someone confirm the weight of their TSi2 16.5? (or 15 degree, probably the same).

Also can someone confirm the 9g Std weight?

And lastly if the tag on the real headcover says made in Vietnam or China?

Headcover made in china is normal. Also the serial numbers on the head/adapter arent supposed to match up.

When I worked at GG in the late teens, the serial #s on the head and adapter did in fact match up.

Many golf shops will swap shafts in heads. For example if they only have a Tensei for a 16 1/2 in stock but the customer wants a HZRDUS they may grab one from a 15 degree head and swap shafts. Quite common.

Thanks for the replies. Went to a golf shop that allows demo clubs to be hit in a real range with top tracer data. I grabbed a 16.5 TSi2 “real” one and everything seemed to match up with mine. Tested both and they were the same. Ball speed numbers were good, feel was good, ball flight was good. Looks like I lucked out.
