What’s up guys been a minute since I’ve been in the southwest group I’ll be back in az July 15-18 to visit family. Long story short I haven’t played AZ for 8 years or so. I don’t have much planned so will try and get 3 or 4 rounds in.
 

There’s a wild part of me that wants to tackle all the munis I grew up on. Maryvale ( it doesn’t feel right calling it GCU), encanto, Aguila and cave creek just for old times sake. I’ve already got a time for Papago but I’m also thinking of trying to get in a nice round at some courses I loved but can’t hardly remember, we ko pa saguaro, wigwam gold etc.

 

Whats the one must play course right now? Don’t want to have any regrets lol. Still probably going to battle the heat and do a 36 hole day at the munis lol. Will be in the Phoenix area but like I said not a lot on the books so traveling a little isn’t a huge deal.

Wickenburg Ranch, Southern Dunes; maybe the Verrado Course - since it is new.  Possibly Sterling Grove because it is new too - but it is not a typical AZ course, but a lot of fun.

I thought Wickenburg Ranch went fully private?

FYI. Just got an email today about Southern Dunes aerating July 5th and 6th.
