Best rain gloves?

I haven't worn a leather glove in years. Footjoy rain gloves only in the GA heat & humidity. Hard to find in anything other than black, I'd like to find something I can buy in either white or grey. Also, would be nice to be able to buy just one for my left hand instead of a pair when I never use the right handed one. Any suggestions? Thanks.

 

EDIT: Amazon has individual rain gloves from a company called Finger Ten made completely of microfiber which is what I'm looking for. Available in a variety of colors including white. You can purchase a 2-pack of the same (left hand) or 1 for each hand for about $15. Reviews on Amazon look pretty good. Anybody here have any experience with Finger Ten gloves?

I bought one left and one right Finger 10 glove off ebay a couple years ago for about $7 each.

 

Being in dry weather most of the time they have only been used a couple times in monsoon rains.  That being said they felt a little odd (especially the right hand) for about one hole then never noticed anything other than the exceptionally good grip after that.  I just left them on for the rest of the round for putting and everything.

 

I highly recommend.  YMMV

Mizuno

 

I've tried the vast majority of them.  I play in Florida and rain gloves in the high humidity are a must for me.  It's bad enough here that I'll resort to 2 gloves when it gets really bad in July and August.  I'll stick with Mizuno as they perform the best out of all I've tried when wet, and last longer then the others.  I just wish they made them in white.

I have white foot joy rain gloves.  I think I grabbed them at my local big box store.  But they are out there.  They come in a pair though.

I wear two gloves all the time.  My hands are super sweaty and nothing else has worked besides just wearing two rain gloves.

 

I tried Finger 10 because I was also looking for anything other than black.  Footjoy does offer a white/gray rain glove set but it seems to come and go in terms of availability.  It's available right now if you just google it.  FootJoys are probably the "best" - but I haven't tried the Mizuno that @596 mentions - I'll check them out.

 

The Finger 10s are solid and worth trying for sure especially for the price.  Durability is probably a bit less than the FJs but not overtly so.  Like they aren't going to immediately fall apart - they'll last a good long while.

I ordered a couple of the Finger 10 gloves in white, they arrived yesterday. Seem fine out of the package, will give them a try Saturday.

Believe it or not…maxfli makes some incredible rain gloves. Black ones from golf galaxy. I got hooked on them last summer and literally haven’t worn anything else since.

Playing the finger 10 white one hand and the black double in the rain. Love them but have just started noticing when I wear one not in the rain I'm getting dry skin that turn to blisters. Someone else mentioned this could happen in another thread. We'll see, I'm playing a lot of golf so maybe that's part of it. I also am in a pretty dry area so not wearing them for humidity or sweat. Only played the rain set once on a trip. Mainly using them because they last a long time and I got tired of tearing up leather every 7-10ish rounds. After 10 rounds with the finger 10 they are basically still brand new. They fit pretty snug so I don't think I could go down in size.

Second the Mizunos.  First time I wore them found them to be a pretty decent upgrade over the Footjoys.

I saw a vid from James Oh a couple of years ago on Instagram. Best rain gloves if it's hammering all round = surgical gloves!

I went to a going out of business sale years ago at a sporting goods store.

They had Mizuno rain gloves and winter gloves.

I bought one pair of each and they are fantastic.

Wish I had bought more.

Since then I always keep a pair of each in my bag.

Sometimes in Summer when the sweat is too slippery to play, I use the rain gloves.
