Since I kind of joined in this topic with you, I'll mention that I also  picked up a Titleist 818 h1 in the 23* slot.  If that goes well for me, I may look at a 19* and even a 27* model.  We shall see.  I got a good deal on it.  I may have preferred a ping, but I just can't pull the trigger on those prices.

TM rbz stage 2 hybrids worth a nose. Note: not the tour version with the adjustable sleeve. Just takes a while to get used to the paint job that scratches up a little too easily

I have the Mizuno ST-Z 230 19* that I turned down to 17* which puts the face 3* open and it has been amazing in the last few sessions with it. It is pretty "hot" so I like it as a distance club but dispersion has still been quite tight. However, it is (maybe) a tad low spin for some people but they should probably just be in a 7 wood at that point? 

 

Side note: I, for some reason, thought adjustable hosels were silly for hybrids prior to having this hybrid. That is insane. This is such a great fitting option and it is almost like having two clubs since I can play it at 17* open or 22* closed. Granted, that may not work for everyone but the flexibility raises the value for me.

The search is over. I've never got along with hybrids before.

 

Just put a TSR1 20º in the bag and its more of a utility wood than a hybrid imo. Dead straight, perfect ball flight, easy to swing.

Tested G430 vs TSR2 vs Paradym in 4H all with their stock shafts.  Nod went to TSR2 for me.  It was most consistent.  Ping was longest, but only 2-3 yds over TSR2.  Couldn't get along with Paradym.  For slightly older hybrid, PXG 0317X Gen 2 was good for me.

visually I prefer a mid size fairway wood style shape, not iron like or overly large. 

 

Taylormade makes closest to what I want but they have way too shallow of a face that I don’t do well with tee shots. Very soft and explosive feeling though.

I’ve also tried Callaway, Ping, Srixon. 

 

 

Doesn't exist!lol! 7 wood or 2 iron as I can't stand the look of a hybrid personally.

I wonder how the TSR2 hybrid compares with the one I recently bought, a Titleist 818 H1 (23*)?  I'm on the lookout for an 18* in either a 5wood or a hybrid.  Still debating which one to go with.

I’ve tried so many different hybrids I am officially over it. Lol Decided to stick with my Srixon ZX hybrid. It’ does everything I want in a compact shape and has amazing feel.  Do pretty well with it off the turf and the tee. Don’t see why I need anything else.

Have you looked at the Epic SuperHybrid?  I recently added a 3 hybrid to the bag and have been loving it.  Great off the tee as well.

TSi3 has the best shape to my eye. Looking to upgrade to TSr3 but looks a little large.

I just got Mizuno Fli Hi 20&23 to replace my 4&5 irons, and I don’t like them. I’m going to put my original Cleveland HALO hybrids back in the bag.
